Stop making this a White vs Black issue. This is not about race. This is about police brutality and oversight. This is about justice for a murder.

Damn straight. The issue isn’t a racial issue in this case (THAT’S NOT TO SAY RACIAL ISSUES DON’T EXIST, DON’T EVEN, TUMBLR, I KNOW YOU). It’s an issue of abuse of power and the militarization of our police. We need to stop the creation of an authoritarian police state. It’s already begun, don’t kid yourself that it hasn’t just because you haven’t seen it personally. It’s our job to end it before it spirals out of control and we all end up under its thumb.
