Lament of the Mind

Is it just me, or is the hate on cis/white/straight people here on tumblr a bit…much? I mean I get why you wanna take frustration out on them and all. The jokes are fine, whatever. But…actual hate? Why on earth would you do that? You shouldn’t be promoting hate in any form. Especially not when painting with such broad strokes, when you yourselves speak out about not wanting to be stereotyped!

Believe it or not tumblr, there are a lot of us “”“”“normal”“”“” folks that are on your side. We want equality too! We actually treat you as equals and as human beings, because you are! And some of us even try to tear the people who don’t treat you like that limb from limb! But please for the love of whatever-you-wanna-love-seriously-it’s-okay-with-me, stop hurting your own case by hating on me with broad strokes before you even know who I am. Same goes for others too.

There might just be a whole lot more to someone than meets the eye.
