This whole section of Homestuck was particularly hard to read, just because of how clearly Gamzee/Terezi reflects every terrible abusive relationship. And I honestly think Hussie tried to show that - even in the troll concept of black romance, you can take it too far. It’s supposed to be a gritty rivalry, not…whatever you call this abusive hell. The fact that they’re alive is about the only thing you can say about it. It’s not pretty and it’s not right.
