Because western idealism has us overly supportive of peace in the face of oppression since peace under those conditions usually lead to more complacency and ignorance. So a message about being peaceful is always going to get more love than a message like this which blurs people’s idea of who “the bad guy” is. People want their peaceful zen comics and happy gif sets so they can avoid shit like this. Cause you know damn well getting bombed on the regular requires more than just peaceful or anti-violent tactics.
