Now that I think about it it is kinda terrifying that the coverage we’re getting of this event was from a guy with a cell phone… but if you think about it, it’s actually really not terrifying.

We all have the tools to replace the state controlled media with wide network social media, and there’s nothing stopping us.

They’ve been trying something hard to take even this from us. We have to keep the internet free and available. It’s the only thing that’s gonna let us win this war - we’re going to have to rely on the free, unrestricted flow of information. Without it, we’re doomed, the forces against us control too much. But with it… with it we stand a chance. We’ve got a playing field where numbers matter more than dollars.

Keeping the internet free and open is what allows things like this to happen. Don’t let them control us.
