New Disney Movie to Feature Classic Video Game Villains
Wreck-It Ralph is a 3D-animated film from Disney due out November 2. The movie stars Ralph, who is a 9-foot, 643 pound, 8-bit video game character who wants to turn his life around and become a role model after going through decades of mischief.
The film will also feature many cameos from classic video game villains such as Bowser (Super Mario World), Kano (Mortal Kombat), Dr. Robotnik (Sonic the Hedgehog), Dr. Wily (Mega Man), Zangief (Street Fighter II), M. Bison (Street Fighter II), Clyde (Pac-Man), and Coily (Q*bert).
Here’s the movie’s synopsis:
“He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero,”
Wreck-It Ralph will feature voiceovers from John C. Reilly, Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer, and Sarah Silverman. It will be Disney’s 52nd animated film.
