DC police weren’t sure if they threw stun grenades. These photos should clear that up.
- Anarchists clashed with riot police in the streets of Washington, D.C., during their anti-fascist protest to mark Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration.
- Blockades of dozens of helmeted police advanced on the protesters with pepper spray, paintball guns full of chemical suppressants and stun grenades.
But police later claimed that it was the protesters who, in fact, showed up with grenades. Read more.
Let’s see. Either the cops, every one of which is armed with stun grenades, threw a few, or the protesters, none of which as private citizens have access to stun grenades, threw them at themselves.
