From CSI: Cyber S1E5 “Crowd Sourced”. Supposedly, this is the source code of a web site that interfaces with a bomb– and more specifically, a “dead man’s switch” that immediately detonates the bomb if any of the code is modified.

Honestly, any comment I could possibly make on this isn’t going to be as funny as the code itself.

You know what? Goofy as this code may be, I wanna give the producers a genuine pat on the back. They actually tried to make something that almost looks plausible, in an alternate world where code works differently. At least it’s not some random piece from github scrolling by at unreadable speeds - someone took the time and effort to write 20 or so lines of code that if the layman reads they’ll think “huh that’d actually do it”. Credit where credit’s due.
