wind waker speedruns rely on the Wind Waker itself being broken as shit and abusing it to swim backwards in a circle to build up momentum and then rocket themselves across the map in three seconds

What even happened

storing the wind waker usage by cancelling it before hitting the ground fucks with the game’s memory so you can move with the wind waker out but holding up on the control stick makes your character model rotate 180 degrees every frame because the camera is fixed and doing that in water for a while gives you stupid momentum

It never ceases to amaze me how crazy the tricks speedrunners find are. This is seriously just fucking lulzy to watch.
