oh one last thing before i go: on the note of tagging Ferguson posts, I understand there are issues and mental illnesses (such as PTSD and certain forms of anxiety) that can be triggered by depictions of violence. to those people I say: please just get off tumblr for a while. because this thing? Ferguson? it’s a way bigger thing than any of us. it’s a legitimate chance for social change and upheaval, and we need this to reach as many people as possible. We need to harness the anger and the fear and the outrage and the passion and the everything we can possibly get right now, in order to get anywhere, and I’m sorry but it would be unacceptable to stifle it just because of a few people. So… yeah. I’m not gonna tag that shit and I don’t think anyone should tag it, honestly.

On the other hand if you’re using “triggered” as in “makes me mildly uncomfortable”
